Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the Psych 4 U website, platform, patient portal, telehealth services, or related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable Notice of Privacy Practices. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

1. Services Offered – No Emergency Medical Services

Psych 4 U provides mental health and psychiatry-related services, including telehealth services, scheduling, billing, educational content, and administrative support.

Psych 4 U is not an emergency service provider. The Platform is intended only for non-emergency mental health care.

If you are experiencing:

• Suicidal thoughts 
• Thoughts of harming yourself or others 
• A medical emergency 
• A psychiatric emergency 

Call 9-1-1 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.

You may also contact:

• 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988 
• Your local emergency services 

2. No Guarantee of Medical Advice

Content on the Platform is for informational purposes only and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider regarding medical or mental health conditions.

Do not ignore professional medical advice because of information you read on this Platform.

3. Telehealth Risks

By using telehealth services, you acknowledge and accept risks associated with telemedicine, including:

• Technical failures 
• Internet interruptions 
• Unauthorized access risks 
• Incomplete transmission of information 
• Delays in evaluation or treatment 

You understand that telehealth may not be appropriate for all conditions or situations.

4. Privacy and HIPAA

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable HIPAA privacy practices.

Protected Health Information (“PHI”) will be used and disclosed only as permitted by law.

5. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or 
• Have consent from a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law 

The Platform is intended for users located in the United States only.

By using the Platform, you represent that you are legally permitted to access and use the services.

6. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to use certain features.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information 
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials 
• Notify us of unauthorized account access 
• Accept responsibility for activity under your account 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

7. Prescription Policy

Providers associated with Psych 4 U may prescribe medications when medically appropriate and legally permitted.

Prescriptions:

• Are issued solely at the provider’s professional discretion 
• May be subject to state and federal restrictions 
• Cannot be guaranteed 
• May require follow-up appointments or assessments 

Controlled substances may not be prescribed in certain situations or jurisdictions.

You may choose your pharmacy unless otherwise restricted by law.

8. Payments and Billing

You agree to pay all fees associated with services provided through the Platform.

Insurance

If insurance is used:

• You authorize Psych 4 U to bill your insurance carrier 
• You remain responsible for unpaid balances, deductibles, copays, and non-covered services 

Payment Method Authorization

By providing payment information, you authorize Psych 4 U to charge your payment method for:

• Appointments 
• Copays 
• Deductibles 
• Missed appointment fees 
• Outstanding balances 

9. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice may result in a cancellation fee.

Missed appointments (“no-shows”) may also result in fees charged to your payment method on file.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at 888-779-2448 between the hours of 8:00am – 6:00pm. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible. If you are having an emergency please call 911 immediately.

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, we will charge the patient a $100 missed appointment fee.
For new patients’ first appointments, a no show or late cancellation will result in a full charge of the new patient fee. 

I understand that this authorization will remain in effect until I cancel it in writing, and I agree to notify PSYCH 4 U in writing of any changes in my account information or termination of this authorization.

I certify that I am an authorized user of this credit card and will not dispute these scheduled transactions with mybank or credit card company as long as the transactions correspond to the terms indicated in this authorization form. 

I acknowledge that credit card transactions could be linked to Protected Health Information.

10. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, including:

• Text 
• Graphics 
• Logos 
• Software 
• Videos 
• Images 
• Branding 
• Website design 

is owned by Psych 4 U or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy 
• Reproduce 
• Distribute 
• Modify 
• Republish 
• Sell 
• Exploit
